Cemetery Trip

I recently visited Lambton Mills Cemetery on Royal York road. Having all the time in the world to do things. For years I have driven past this cemetery without going in. As a child I was fascinated by tombstones, their decorations and inscriptions. Who were the people who had died and been buried. What were their lives like?

Close up

I was back at my local mall yesterday. This winter tableau is still quite disturbing to me. I took some closer shots of the individual mannequins that make up this scene. The faces are what bother me the most.

Book-ended

This pink tree of Jones Soda (dedicated to Dirty Dancing, no less) appeared this week in the outdoor display window. It complements the interior red and green (dedicated to Honest Ed) one quite nicely.
